Work on mobile access is no longer a part of our strategy. allowing for column setups to be displayed in the mobile app is not not available at this time.
Within the app, we do allow for you to select up 5 additional fields to be displayed within the lists of the main modules

We are committed to making Maximizer work for both public cloud (CRM LIve) and private cloud (on premise). The only way to make that work is through API’s. We use the API’s ourselves so will continue to evolve them. Please use the dev.connect forum to ask any questions about the API’s if you need more insights to help do the work that you need to do

An error occurred while saving the comment Robbie Brand - Collier Pickard commentedOne feature of Global Edit is to add a Note, this would do what you want.
This feature can be found on the Edit Menu.
This is an administrator/super user feature and would normally be disabled in the user access rights because it has the potential to be destructive if used incorrectly. -

Please note Maximizer’s professional service team have created integrations with Avaya AES among others so feel free to contact them directly if you have an acute need for this type of integration.
An error occurred while saving the comment Robbie Brand - Collier Pickard commentedIf people are using soft phones could Maximizer not just format phone numbers in specific URL formats so that the numbers can be dialled by clicking them?
I am assuming that a VOIP soft phone that understands SIP would understand a SIP URL like sip:user@domain or sip:PhoneNumber@Gateway (only guessing at this second format)
This would also work for Skype which uses callto:PhoneNumber format.
Most mobile phones seem to work with tel:PhoneNumber
It looks like Microsoft Lync works with all of those formats.
This needs to work in the LAN and the web clients, in mobile client phones will dial the numbers (but not using VOIP). In theory the Skype browser plugin would allow dialling from Maximizer web access, but not the LAN client.
I guess to get this to work we need some new options in the user dialling settings that allow the user to specify the URL format and where to inject the clean phone number in that format. You may also need to use the phone description or the presence of @ to determine the format for SIP dialling.

Rather than create this ourselves at the moment, our Professional Services team is able to integrate Maximizer with your inventory management ERP.

Over recent releases we have been implementing improvements to handling of column setups and how these are managed within the various list views – row height and width etc.
We will continue to introduce UI and UX improvements going forward to make the solution even easier to work with.

I agree this is a major problem which we are also encountering more and more regularly.
We have found that using the Maximizer LAN client with the Outlook toolbar for Maximizer Web installed allows us to largely ignore the email window in the LAN client.
The Outlook toolbar for Maximizer web is not perfect, but hopefully it will continue to improve.
In this configuration making the mistake of opening the email window will render Maximizer useless until the mail has finished loading. It would be nice to be able to completely disable to LAN email window.
