Just to clarify, Mobile Access for Maximizer CRM Live is supported on Safari (iOS - iPhone/iPad). To use Maximizer CRM Live on other Mac OSes (other than iOS), please use FireFox as the browser. Here are more details: http://www.maximizer.com/support/maxcrmlive.html?panel=3#support

Do you think this can be accomplished with a more optimized search? For example, the company field alone can hold the entire name 'International Business Machines (IBM)' and the search will return this record when any piece of the company name is being searched on.

Yes, to clarify, the social networking tab will provide the most up to date photo of the contact in LinkedIn.
A photo can also be attached directly into the address book record, available in Maximizer CRM Live or Group and Enterprise editions but is currently unavailable in Windows access (ie: Entrepreneur edition).

This also includes another related idea:
Product Line Items in Opportunities
Most CRM solutions that are available offer when adding an Opportunity the ability to create a group of product line items, quantity, price etc and in turn create a quote or total the value of the Opportunity. Maximizer has the OrderDesk but there is no connectivity to Opportunities and the module is starting to show its age. User defined fields as a workaround is not really a viable solution to this. -
