Formula Date Fields
Formula UDF fields: need a function like Today and Isblank for dates. Comparison with eg. Dispatch Date will show overdue if Receipt Date is blank and Today - Dispatch Date is more than eg. 7 days. Then we can show any deliveries that are overdue in eg. red.
With the release of Maximizer CRM v2017 in October ’16 we included a duration UDF type, which calculates based on Today().

Partial release only - not the IsBlank function

We have a request to add "today now" and "time now" without choosing it manually. example for any approval or comment we need to have next to it date or time to be registered in the field directly

I want to be able to do my commissions calculations on my CRM. Can this be done on Maximizer CRM and how to do you do this? Keep in mind that one column's data must be able to do calculations with another column.

Needs an ISNULL() or ISBLANK() function.
At the moment an if statement fails if one of the resultant fields is a blank date field. Doesn't matter if the blank field is not in the comparison.

In the upcoming 2017 release, we will introduce a new type of user-defined field which allows you to specify a date field and calculate the age based on that field. For example, you can calculate contact's age based on Birthday field. Or, calculate how long you haven't contacted a customer by the Last Contact Date field.

We really need this function.

I am shocked that this is not yet an option. It can't be a difficult fix. Is there an expected time that a Today function will be available?

Totally agree - really need to be able to calculate / identify a blank date field.

Yes, I just searched for this and am trying to use a formula to determine how many days we've had an opportunity active (today's date - created date). I found a [creation date] that works for the opp here: http://help.maximizer.com/MaxCRM12-3/maximizer-CRM/E!User-Help/UDF/Date_Functions.htm?searchhighlightTextStringRoboHelp="TODAY%27S%20DATE" .
Now need a [current date] to make this work.
MAXIMIZER: Please, please respond or comment on ability to add.

Today or current date is a very useful feature when using formulas in UDF's. Please action.

There is a another issue with formulas that attempt to 'age' things which is that they really need to auto recalculate for all values at least every night. This should be an attribute of the formula field. "Recalculate Daily"

This is a no-brainer, the greatest use for the formula's must be working out the current date versus a pre-defined date.
Perhaps the best overall solution is to facilitate the use of SQL fields? -

In order for this to work formulas need to first be recalculated on a regular schedule, otherwise the result of the formula would not be updated the next day.
