To assist Users in complying with CASL., the "Opt-in email type" field should be an available field for Global Edit and Importing
We're about to begin migrating several thousand customer entries and want to use the "Opt-in email type" field in order to comply with anti-spam legislation. We're not able to see the "Opt-in email type" field under the Global Edit options. Is the only option to manually change individual records? It would be beneficial to have the "Opt-in email type" field available as an import field as well.

Yes, I know this is a necro-post but there's no solution that I can see yet. Here's what I did in case anyone else runs into the same issue and is feeling brave. I am using SQL to insert rows into the AMGR_Email_Profile_Tbl directly. You need to figure out what number represents each email type but the rest of the fields are pretty straightforward. Disclaimer - test it first, if it breaks something, don't blame me for it :-). Waiting for a stern warning from someone.
Yes, there should be a way of doing this from within the application.

Currently, global editing or import "opt-in email type" is not supported in the product. It is in our backlog for considering.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I've just imported ~3,500 entries to Maximizer CRM Live from an older version that didn't have these options. I need to global edit various categories of contacts into different opt-in categories. Thanks in advance.
