More detail about documents in the document tab
My customers (and I) struggle with the documents windows just not showing enough information about stored documents before you open the document. This is particularly true of email.

This is something that currently is a major let down for us in terms of the user experience on Maximizer. We went from the clunky but comprehensive Maximizer on Windows clone of Outlook that worked, to this new Web Integration but now find we have lost the key functionality that made the Windows version a viable solution....RAPID ACCESS TO CLIENT INFORMATION...there is simply NOTHING to work with in the Documents Window on Maximizer now...you know you have emails but nothing more...not who sent it or who it is from, not what it was about, nor if it has an attachment. There is no opportunity to use the original email title or add your own note at the point of entry from Outlook. The loss of a preview pane was something which when it disappeared for a while from the earlier Windows client nearly caused us to stop using Maximizer completely.
Simply put, if Maximizer when used through a Browser cannot help us to view and sort email document which represent 85% of our document workload, then it is probably better we continue to save and view them in Outlook...what comes next in the eyes of our Maximizer users...well maybe their desire to move onto using Microsoft CRM functionality with Outlook!
This seems like a no brainer as the new Maximizer Browser client is really a great leap forward in so many other respects! I hope the guys in Vancouver will put a little more time into this to get the Documents Window up to strength. I am sure we are not the only client who will be needing this.
