Implement a Quote Management Module in Maximizer
There is no feasible way to create quotes in Maximizer, which is losing us potential customers. A company who uses Maximizer should be able to create a quote based on a product catalogue that actually connects to the Opportunity Management System rather then an unsupported/old order desk solution that is not a fitting function.
We have launched several integrations with Accounting and Quoting applications that allow you to enter the contact information once in Maximizer CRM Live and then have it appear in your preferred quoting app, and then in Maximizer CRM LIve be able to see the quotes and invoices that were created. More integrations are coming to Maximizer CRM Live and are accessible through the App Directory.
Additionally, there is an excel based quoting tool that allows you to customise your quotes as needed.

We are currently working on a simple solution for creating quotes through the integration with Excel 365. It will be released in September 2016 time frame. The more sophisticated solution with product catalog has been planned for 2018 release.

Still looking for a Quote solution to work with Maximizer web editions?
This is an update on our Excel Integration for Maximizer which has now been transformed into a complete web enabled toolbar for Microsoft Excel.
Take any Excel workbook (2007,2010,2013) add merge fields, uniquely number the document , save values back to Maximizer, save the Excel to Maximizer.
Our new integration works with AddressBook records , Opportunities and Cases. The system can be deployed with Maximizer 12 (Group or Enterprise) and Maximizer CRM 2015.
For a quick preview take just 2 minutes to view this video of the creation of a quotation for a customer at Escona using the integration. More details to follow!

Quotewerks is not an integrated solution, nor does it work on the web based version of maximizer. It is a band-aid.

This has been an issue for years. Maximizer wastes time in adding fluff into the system (Social Media, support for smartphones) which is all fine and dandy, but a CRM system that cannot generate and store quotes is inadequate. Until this is fixed, Maximizer can't play with the big boys in CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) Very disappointing that they don't even have the decency to reply to this thread. And please.. don't suggest Quotewerks..

Will anyone from Maimizer reply and not address this? A sales tool needs to be able to quote

Why is no one from Maximizer commenting on, or addressing, this glaring problem? If you want to be taken seriously when competing against major CRM systems, the inability to generate quotes is a huge problem. This is urgent and needs resolution, otherwise many of us customers will be looking to replace Maximizer

I agree with many of the comments. A quotation module should run within Maximizer and tie in with opportunities. It is one of the most basic requirements to use the system s a sales management tool at all levels. It is something we are having to look at as a bolt on to maximizer whereas it should really be out of the box running on all platforms. MaxQuote looks good and Synergy also but they are bolt ons!

Why is no one from Maximizer commenting on this? It is a glaring problem and needs development resources allocated. This is far more urgent than fluff like supporting the latest tablet O/S or worrying about Twitter, social networking links, etc. CRM and quoting go hand in hand- Please fix this!!

The ability to create quotes should be a no brainer for a CRM system that claims to support sales organizations. Quotewerks is not a great solution. Why is there no effort put into allowing the maximizer customer to create a database of items and generate quotes? This is a huge weakness compared to other CRM systems like Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.

I am a couple of months into implementation of MaxQuote, a module developed by chaps in Australia (we're in South Africa) for one of my clients, alongside Max 12.5 software.
It works really well, integrates quite tightly with the opportunity module etc.A ltop ocal Max distributor did the installation. If you want further info from an unbiased source, or to chat over email, just drop me a note suzanne@salesbytes.com - I am not a Max distributor or on commission or anything, just someone who takes Max (or other CRM packages) to the next level for my clients when it comes to sales processes etc

Has anything been done about this recently? I can't seem to see any updates except since 2012 from Admin with the comment to look elsewhere for a solution to fix it .

QuoteWerks is good. However, it is NOT possible to save quotes under the opportunity documents tab which is the only logical way to use QuoteWerks.

There's a company in Australia called Rapid.com.Au that has developed an integrated quote module for Max - I'm looking at it for a client (working with a local Max distributor). Will let you know how it goes

Any self respecting CRM tool / application should have a Quotation module, either built in or as a optional "bolt on", how else can you track how much business a client is worth, or what his purchasing trends are or what you have quoted him, much simpler and logical to have it all in one place !
